NEW YORK CITY - In the past six months the company spun off from former parent company Time Warner and re-branded the company. To discuss the online media brand's evolution, and showcase its growing roster of talent and Web sites, AOL hosted a summit for clients on April 8.
With just two weeks' notice — IEP supported the daylong gathering with DL3 media technology that presented various videos on multiple wall surfaces throughout the venue - the Skylight Soho. During the afternoon, AOL executives presented the company's business plans in one of several custom designed spaces where clients could get up to speed and ask questions during a panel discussion with editors and producers of the brand's different properties.
IEP provided set design, video, lighting and a concert audio configuration - to help support both the Aol executives and a music session featuring Jakob Dylan. In addition to Jakob, Aol's line up included comedian Richard Lewis, chef Marcus Samuelsson, of Aol's Kitchen Daily and Eric Stomer of Aol DIY.
